This project did not begin as a business plan or a real estate idea. It began as a feeling — a quiet, persistent longing for community.

Over the years, we have watched many devotees we love struggle to find a place where devotional life and everyday life truly support each other. Rising housing costs, long commutes, limited devotee association, and uncertain living situations make it difficult to put down roots. We have felt those same pressures ourselves.

Sambandha Springs is our response to that longing.

A Desire for Connection

At its heart, this dream is about connection. We long for a way of living where devotional life and everyday life support each other naturally, where people are close enough to share ordinary life, not just special occasions. Simplicity matters to us because it creates the space for that kind of connection, without constant pressure from finances, logistics, or isolation.

We are not seeking perfection, nor a utopia. We are seeking something grounded and human. Neighbors who know each other. Children who grow up seeing devotional life lived naturally. A rhythm of life that makes spiritual practice easier, not harder.

Community That Feels Like Home

Over time, we have seen how powerful it can be when devotees live near one another, not just coming together for festivals or programs, but sharing ordinary life. Helping with childcare. Sharing prasadam. Checking in when someone is struggling. Celebrating small victories together.

Sambandha Springs is envisioned as a neighborhood first, not an institution. A place where people can live their own lives, while still knowing they are part of something shared.

Affordability as a Foundation

For us, affordability is not just a practical concern. It shapes the kind of life people are able to live.

When housing costs push families into constant stress, long work hours, or frequent moves, something essential is often lost. Time, presence, and energy become scarce. We want to explore models that keep land and housing within reach for ordinary devotee families and individuals, especially those priced out of nearby areas.

This means modest homes. Thoughtful planning. Clear guidelines that help preserve affordability over time. It also means patience, cooperation, and humility as we learn together.

Why Now

Becoming parents has deepened this dream for us. We think often about the kind of environment we want our child to grow up in — one where devotion feels natural, relationships feel stable, and life feels anchored in something deeper than constant motion.

At the same time, we recognize that we are not alone in this desire. Many of you have shared similar longings, stories, and hopes. Sambandha Springs is not our project alone — it is something we are holding carefully and inviting others to help shape.

This dream has not appeared overnight. It has been shaped over many years of exploration, trial, and learning, including attempts at rural community, visits to co-housing projects, and seasons of simpler living. Each experience has helped clarify what we are truly seeking and what we hope to cultivate moving forward.

A Beginning, Not a Promise

This is still early. There is much we do not know yet, and many steps ahead. We are moving slowly and intentionally, seeking guidance, feedback, and the right people to walk alongside us.

If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to stay connected and share your thoughts. Whatever form Sambandha Springs ultimately takes, we trust that sincere efforts toward service, cooperation, and simplicity are never wasted.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for being part of our journey.
